Jimmy Opens A Prison

Britain’s prisons are overcrowded, the government needs more space, and Jimmy has spotted what looks like the perfect business opportunity.

After all, what could be easier? The customers arrive for free, the government pays the bill, and best of all… they’re not allowed to leave.

But when empty beds start eating into Jimmy’s profits, he goes looking for new prisoners—and discovers that international expansion, cheap labour and a suspiciously helpful security contractor can do wonders for occupancy rates.

Soon Jimmy’s little prison business is attracting attention from the police, immigration authorities, foreign governments and, inevitably, the Tax Man.

Jimmy wanted to own a prison.

By the end, he gets to live in one.
